COVID-19 has certainly created strange and uncertain times for us as a community, as a nation, and as a human race. Anxiety and stress levels are at an all-time high for a lot of us. We are having to learn to adapt to our new (hopefully temporary) normal. This includes learning to work from home, homeschooling our children, and distancing ourselves from family and friends, among many other stressors that come into play. While many of us struggle with these new aspects of our daily lives, we must remember that we are all in this together, and we will pull through!

Here at 855Bugs, our team is comprised of everyday folk just like you. Our staff members have children, parents, grandparents, brothers, and sisters. We are feeling the effects of anxiety and worry, and we’re feeling the effects of social distancing. We are also proud that we provide a service to our community that can help alleviate completely different and unnecessary stress while the majority of people are confined to their homes. Now, more than ever, it’s important to have a comfortable space to work, eat, spend quality time with family, and sleep.

Safeguard your property from COVID-19 and pests

Is your home as comfortable as it can be? Are you safeguarding the place you’re spending the majority of your time? While Covid-19 has slowed down the human race, it is still Springtime in Texas. Pests are still on the loose and becoming more active as the weather warms up. We see an uptick of almost all pest presence during Spring. Ants and termites are the primary concern. Mosquitos and flies return with diseases and bacteria. Rodents also become more active in warmer weather in preparation for the breeding season. You’ll see more spiders as the temperatures rise. All forms of wildlife are more active, and you can bet your normal nuisance animals have begun returning to their trademark meddling.

The 855Bugs team can help provide you with peace of mind. We know that the CDC has provided guidelines to help stop the spread and flatten the curve of Covid-19, and we know that you may not feel comfortable inviting someone into your home during this time to treat pests. That is okay, and we completely understand! The good news is that we can treat the exterior of your home and never have to step inside. Treating the perimeter of your home essentially provides a barrier that pests won’t cross to get in.

We also understand that you may already be experiencing some sort of infestation inside your home. If an indoor inspection and/or treatment is needed, our technicians are wearing gloves, face masks, and/or respirators, and protective coverings over shoes to minimize any spread of germs. We are observing social distancing guidelines and will keep a safe distance between us and any member of your household. Our team members are washing their hands and/or sanitize frequently, and disinfect vehicles and equipment regularly.
